Our journey so far

We were born from the trust of a pioneering legacy.

For over 35 years, we built a solid trajectory as Softplan Group, and in 2025 we took a strategic step by creating Starian to operate in the private market. This move reinforced our commitment to innovation, brought us even closer to our clients, and accelerated the delivery of specialized SaaS solutions in the segments where we operate.

1990 - 2000

Foundation

Softplan is born. Within a decade, we launched four products that shaped our history: Sienge, SIDER, SAJ, and SAFF.

2000 - 2015

Governance

First External Board, new headquarters at Sapiens Parque, and investments in 1Doc and Refera. We began evolving our solutions toward Web, Platform, and later Ecosystem, establishing the foundation for our business strategy, expansion, and SaaS product evolution.

2020 – 2025

Expansion

Succession of partners, creation of the M&A area, and acquisition of 13 companies that strengthen our multi-SaaS operation.

2025

Starian launch

The Softplan group is split into two autonomous companies: Softplan, focused on the public sector, and Starian, focused on the private market with SaaS solutions—boosted by a R$640 million investment from General Atlantic, one of the world's leading investment funds.
